Our Story of RenewalWe have been on an exciting journey of renewal at First Presbyterian Church. We have focused our attention on God and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Spiritual growth is a key part of this journey and lives are being transformed as we study and pray and grow together. "Don't Let Fear Consume You"
A video crew from the Presbyterian Mission Agency of the PCUSA came and spent a weekend with us last year to learn more about our congregation. They put together this video that tells an abbreviated story of our journey. The videographer commented that he was so filled with joy as he saw what was happening in our congregation. The power of the Holy Spirit is alive among us and he could feel the energy. He said that he would love to move to Rockaway just to be a part of it! |
