MUSIC MINISTRY

Music is a central focus of our worship.

Join us as we "Sing to the Lord a new song."

The CHOIR sings at worship services and rehearses Thursdays, 8-9pm.

THE HANDBELL CHOIR often enhances worship.

CHERUB CHOIR - K-Grade 5. Practice during worship after Children's Sermon.

ADULT MINISTRY

Bible Study Groups

Because our faith is strongly rooted in the Bible,

we offer opportunities to learn more about what it says to us:

SUNDAY MORNING, 9:15-10:15am. (Childcare provided)

MONDAY NIGHT, 7:30-9:00pm

TUESDAY MORNING, 9:30-11:00am (Childcare provided)

SUMMER EVENINGS - Times and places to be announced.

Other Opportunities for Adults

ROCKAWAY CONNECTION - (college age) meet periodically for fellowship, retreats and mission projects.

WOMEN'S CIRCLES meet monthly for study, charity work and Christian Fellowship:

Sarah - 3rd Tuesday, 7:30pm at members' homes.

 Eve - 2nd Thursday, 6-7:30pm at the church (Childcare provided)

SENIOR LUNCHEON - at the church Scheduled periodically throughout the year.

Call for specific information. Transportation provided.

MEN'S BREAKFAST - Christian Fellowship with rotating leadership, the last Saturday, 8am at the church.

COFFEE HOUR - Mingle with your church family in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Worship (Sept.-May).

Enjoy punch outdoors during the summer.

CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRY

Children and youth are an important part of our congregation.

We offer a variety of programs to help them learn and grow in the love of Jesus Christ.

From age 3 through Senior High, children and youth are invited to:

CHURCH SCHOOL Sundays, 9:15am.

JR. HIGH FELLOWSHIP offers monthly activities for 6th-8th graders.

SR. HIGH FELLOWSHIP (Grades 9-12) engages teens in worship, service, study and fun,

including an annual summer Mission Trip and regional Presbyterian Youth Connection activities.

ACOLYTES (Grades 4-7) ring the church bell and light candles for worship.

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH COOPERATIVE NURSERY SCHOOL (PCCNS)

is accredited for children 3-5 years of age (tuition required).

CHILDCARE is provided during most church events.

 On Sundays, care is offered for infants and toddlers during church School and worship.

Preschool children and Grades 1-3 attend worship for about 15 minutes

 and go to Child Care after the Children's Sermon.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

LENTEN LUNCHEONS - Ecumenical gatherings, Fridays during Lent. Led by clergy of participating congregations.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE - The Sunday before Thanksgiving, hosted on rotating basis by participating

HELPING HANDS - Meals available to congregation members in emergencies.

PRAYER CHAIN - Call for prayers.

TRANSPORTATION - Rides to church, doctors, etc.

EXTENDED COMMUNION - Communion brought to housebound members on the first Sunday of the month.

STEPHEN MINISTRY - One-on-one confidential Christian caregiving.

ROCKAWAY FOOD CLOSET - Non-perishable food for the needy in our community.
